Sequoia Foot Care Group: Richard Motos, DPM, FACFAS

With over 15 years in practice as an innovative foot and ankle specialist, Richard Motos, DPM, FACFAS, a board-certified podiatrist, can diagnose and treat a wide variety of lower extremity issues. Dr. Motos welcomes new and existing patients to Sequoia Foot Care Group in Visalia, California. For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Motos went to the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology, minoring in chemistry. Dr. Motos was regularly on the dean's list and even became a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society during his undergraduate program. After graduation, Dr. Motos attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and continued to further his education after completing his graduate program. Dr. Motos went through a comprehensive internship and podiatric residency program for three years, focusing on foot and ankle surgery and wound healing. He trained at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, as well as affiliated hospitals throughout the five boroughs and Long Island.
