The Mindful Child

The Mindful Child is a center for social emotional wellness and positive behavior development. At The Mindful Child, we believe that children thrive in an environment that feels both safe and nurturing. The children are provided with developmentally appropriate activities, opportunities, and experiences through the use of careful planning and extensive knowledge of child development and wellness. The play-based yoga and mindful education programs utilize known benefits of yoga and mindfulness in order to ensure the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development of each child. Every effort is made to stay present while working with your children. In doing so, a model is provided for the children with the intention of helping to create a community where feeling, acting, nurturing, being and caring for our self and others is always encouraged.
