Olde Bob uses a proprietary method of cleaning flat surfaces in combination with cleaning agents, sodium hypochlorite and a 4 gallon per minute surface cleaner. The benefit to the home owner is a longer lasting attractive surface and no unsightly "zebra striping". (Dark lines and marking indicating incomplete removal of mildew stains) Olde Bob has also been successful in removal of black streaking and heavy mold accumulation on shingle roofs. Using the softwash method (low pressure rinsing) after treating the mold with a solution recommended by major roofing manufacturers. (Owens Corning & GAF) Olde Bob does not use high pressure washing of shingles which removes protective granules.
