Reaching out is difficult; I am glad you are here. I am a client centered therapist who uses an integrative approach. I am also a United States Veteran. I access tools from psychoanalytical psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, DBT Skills, Trauma Focused EMDR, and Attachment Focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to best support you. The National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP) cites EMDR as an evidence-based practice for treatment of PTSD, anxiety and depression symptoms. Clients who benefit most from my style are motivated to work towards change and are open to the process of therapy.
