Kenneth M Reed MD, PC

After graduating from Brown University in 1975 with a degree in biology, KMR was involved in medical research with the transplant team at Mass General Hospital. From there KMR attended CMDNJ in Newark NJ where he completed his medical school training. This urban setting provided an interesting "hands on" experience where trauma and advanced disease states were the norm. KMR was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society upon graduating, and continued his training as an intern in the department of internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia PA. From there KMR was offered one of just a few select residency slots to attend the combined dermatology program at Harvard Medical School. A highly sought after position, this program uniquely offered residents the ability to train at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Brigham and Women's Hospital, the Boston Children's Hospital, and the Lahey Clinic. As a resident KMR had several publications published in prestigious peer reviewed medical journals. Dr. Reed's interest in biomedical research remains his passion and reaches out well beyond dermatology. KMR currently serves as a director for the Israeli based RedHill Biopharma which focuses on gastrointestinal and inflammatory disease states as well as oncology.
