Choosing local flowers Highland Springs floral focuses on stunning seasonal specialty cut flowers. We use regenerative farming practices, working with nature to rehabilitate and enhance the ecosystems surrounding us. ​ Our flowers are grown in harmony with nature. Our gardens are biodiverse and naturally maintained, without the use of harmful sprays and chemical fertilizers. Our blooms are only sold locally, so we produce a much smaller carbon footprint. ​ We love growing local celebration flowers, because natural flowering patterns remind us of impending anniversaries, and connect us to cycles of the past. I carried my lilacs for my wedding, and I have lilacs on my table for every anniversary. ​​ Our designs, installation, arrangements, bouquets, table scapes, crowns, combs, and boutonnieres are inspired by mother nature; honored, collected, and arranged by an artists' hand. Choosing local flowers from our farm/floristry means that each design contains unique bits of of branches and blooms, which aren't available commercially. Seasons differ slightly from year to year, so every piece is created uniquely to celebrate your special moment. We practice sustainable techniques in our designs, and do not use floral foam. We often pick invasive plants and sow native species in their place. Our goal is not only to provide you with beautiful flowers, but to create a more beautiful world.
