FeeneyArchitect provides sustainable, classic mountain modernist architectural design and construction management services thru out the Four Corners region and on the Navajo Nation, since 1974. Our projects include the new "STEAM" Park [Science, Theater, Education, Arts and Music] project on the Animas River next to our Discovery Museum [now the PowerHouse Science Center] in Durango; a new Durango branch for Vectra Bank; 1201 LOFTS mixed use at 12th and Main in Durango, as well as 10,000 sf mountain retreats and a firm specialty- small, +/-700 s.f sustainable min-homes. One recent modernist home in the Animas Valley north of Durango received an Energy Star rating of "18"- meaning it uses only 18% of the energy [gas, electricity] that a normal to code built home would use! Currently, our $3.M Navajo Agricultural Products Industries Soils Lab and Farm Administration building is under construction on the NAPI campus in Farmington, New Mexico, as well as many residential projects.
