Corey is a highly educated, experienced & sought after drum instructor in all styles of drumset & traditional world percussion. Whether you're just a beginner or have been drumming for many years, Corey will be able to help you reach your musical goals. His central philosophy to teaching is to guide each individual to their desired musical goals through hard work, commitment and patience. This includes refinement of listening skills, ability to interpret and play all styles of music, basic time and pulse, sound, technique & creativity. Studying with Corey is hard work, and he knows that. That is why he doesn't leave his students clueless when they leave the practice room. All students will learn how to listen, respond, and react to the music they love the most, while learning to play and appreciate jazz and world music at the same time.
