Asbury Child Development Center

CDC offers several full-day preschool programs including Head Start, Pre-K Counts, and Tuition-Based Preschool. Our Head Start and Pre-K Counts programs are based on your household's income and for many, these are free programs. Children enrolled in one of our preschool programs receive our research-based Creative Curriculum®, nurturing staff, teeth brushing twice a day, and a free nutritious breakfast lunch and snack that is included. With a board-certified pediatrician, registered nurses and speech therapists on our staff, CDC offers a volume of services in support of our enrolled children's health and well-being -- with your permission. Among them: * Application of fluoride varnish to preschool children's teeth to help strengthen and protect them from cavities and decay. * Welcome Days that include vision, hearing, physical, speech/language, developmental and behavioral health screenings. * Visits to CDC's centers to provide speech therapy, compliance physicals and lead/hemoglobin testing. * Consultation with families about medications and other pediatric health care concerns. * Referrals to community health care and dental providers.
