Advanced Dermatology Associates, LTD has been in the Lehigh Valley since 1967 and Pottsville/Schuylkill County since 1988. The origins of the practice, Dermatology Associates, formed by Dr. Alan Schragger, opened in Allentown on 13th and Hamilton Streets in 1967. Dr. Schragger (retired) had Dr. Arthur Sosis (retired) join him in 1973. Another dermatology practice, Advanced Dermatology, was opened in Allentown on College Heights Boulevard by Dr. Stephen Purcell in 1988 (and shortly thereafter in Pottsville), later moving to Hamilton Boulevard.
